Hey Everyone!
Since it's dead week and finals are next week, there will be no more lessons for the school year. Lessons will start up again Fall Quarter. Your new Secretary, Cara Hallam, will let you know the details later this summer.
We hope everyone has enjoyed this year's activities, this has been a fun year for all of us. We hope to have more ideas for next year and look forward to another great year! Hope everyone has a great summer and gets a chance to relax! We'll see all of you in the fall! (Maybe some of you over summer at the Grad?)
Feel free to email us if you have any questions over summer, we'll keep checking our mail even if we're not in town!

This Week's Lessons, May 29th:
Instead of having the dances picked out prior to lessons, we want to know what you want to learn! So this Thursday's lessons will be based off what you request. If there's a dance you've been wanting to learn come at 8pm and we'll teach it! Lessons will be this Thursday at The Graduate! We will begin lessons promptly at 8pm!
Barn Dance, May 30th:
The final Barn Dance of the school year will be May 30th! Don't miss out! Lessons will be from 7pm to 9pm. The Barn Dance will then start at 9pm and go till midnight. Lessons: Got to be Funky, Men in Black, Drifter, Go Go Stomp(Redneck Yacht Club), Wild Wild West, and El Paso. Elections will also be taking place at this Barn Dance, so members be ready to vote!! Lessons and dance will be held in Chumash Auditorium, Cal Poly Campus. Cover is $5. Come join the fun Friday, May 30th!

This week's lessons are: Tush Push, Horseshoe and Watermelon Crawl! Lessons are $1 and will begin at 8pm and go till 9pm. So come join us this Thursday at The Graduate! We will begin lessons promptly at 8pm! Barn Dance, May 30th:

We will be teaching lessons this Thursday! This week's lessons are: Copperhead Stomp, Continental Cowboy and Uno, Dos, Tres! Lessons are $1 and will begin at 8pm and go till 9pm. So come join us this Thursday at The Graduate! We will begin lessons promptly at 8pm! Barn Dance, May 30th:

It's that time of the year again! CLDC is currently taking any nominations for the elected officer positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. If you would like to nominate someone (including yourself), please email the club at cldc@calpoly.edu. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, May 7th! ---If you are interested in a position other than those mentioned above, please still email the club, but say it is for an appointed position; the newly elected officers will determine those positions at the end of the quarter.--- Barn Dance, May 30th:

If anyone is interested in attending this great workshop, please email the club by May 7th! We were able to get a student discount, so the cost will be $15. Any questions about this, please email the club!

Luis Crespo is hosting a West Coast Workshop, May 17th:
There will be a West Coast workshop held in May by Luis Crespo, I forwarded the email about it earlier this month. To remind everyone, the workshop is on a Saturday, 4-8pm, with a dance 8pm-midnight. If anyone is interested in attending this great workshop, please email the club ASAP and let us know! We are looking into getting a student discount but need people to come so we can. We will try to get in two of our own workshops in the weeks beforehand to get some basics down. Any questions about this, please email the club!
