State of extreme tiredness
It has been said “Information is Power” because once we know more about something we can act to change our lives. My intent here is not to try to replace the advices of an health professional but to simply provide you with information on possible sources of tiredness,fatigue and extreme tiredness.In many cases, Tiredness, Fatigue and Extreme Tiredness are a by product of lack of proper sleep in quantity or in quality or both.
Feeling tired is normal after an hard day of work or an activity that required a lot of energy or if circumstances have not allowed you to have proper sleep during a day or two. This tiredness goes away after a good night of sleep. But what about those who feels constantly tired even if they have slept at least 8 hours. Here is a list of possible sources of fatigue, tiredness or extreme tiredness.
- Medical problems are probably the biggest cause of Extreme Tiredness. Many medicals problems can bring extreme tiredness. Among those are anemia, cancer, heart disease, sleep disorders ( insomnia and apnea ). Those who takes medications for issue like depression, anxiety are also prone to suffer from extreme tiredness. The long term use of antibiotic weakened the immune system and can induce extreme tiredness.
- High consumption of coffee, alcohol, nicotine and various drugs
- High consumption of foods that include chemicals products
- Poor nutrition: Very low consumption of fruits and vegetables and a high consumption of soft drink, chips, pizzas, crackers, hot dogs. A diet too rich in carbohydrates such as potatoes, bread, spaghetti, rigatoni, lasagna can also be part of the problem. A diet too rich in sugar ( Desserts or Processed foods ).
- Being constantly exposed to radiation or electro magnetic devices
- Using steroids
- Not enough time for relaxation, leisure and sleep.
- For some women: multiple close pregnancies
Now there are at least a few things we can do to help ourselves aside avoiding what we just described.
- Regular routine to eat, rest and sleep
- Regular physical activities
- Manage our stress
- Take time to relax before bed time
